Black Label Edition gets a set of suspension parts with more rigidity that allows for 12 inches travel in the front and 14 inches back.
The new Saleen Sportruck XR was unveiled by in July. Now, the American tuner offers a better view of its rugged take on Ford F-150. The company is now accepting orders and will begin deliveries soon. Pricing information is not yet available.
The Sportruck XR is ready for dirt off-road. Saleen provides 2.5-inch coilovers to the truck’s front and back. Braking duties are performed by 13.8-inch brake rotors in the front with two-piston discs and 13.8 in the rear with single-piston discs. Saleen has redesigned bumpers. The piece at the front extends underneath the body to provide extra protection for the heavier suspension components. The LED light bar is integrated into the nose to provide additional illumination for the trail. The vehicle has a more slender appearance thanks to its upgraded grille, sidesteps and tailgate panel. General Tire Grabber X3 rubber wraps around a pair of 17×8.5-inch six-spoke wheels at each end. The Saleen label covers the floor mats and headrests. Drivers can also see a set white-face gauges.
While the standard powerplant has a naturally aspirated engine, there is a supercharged version with over 700 horsepower (522 megawatts). Saleen has provided more information about the engine options.
Black Label is more extreme and includes Racecraft control arms, spindles and Fox shocks with 12 inch travel up front and 13 inches at the rear. Saleen provides the upgraded rear leaf springs, bump stops and frame gussets. This edition features full leather upholstery.
Buyers have the option to upgrade their front brakes to slotted, 13.6 inch or 14-inch wheels with six-piston discs. You can have 17×8-inch wheels in chrome or carbonite for a completely different look.
