It is also known as Seaker.
Jim and Mike Ring have been busy again. The duo showed off their latest creation at the SEMA show. “Seaker”, a 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is the latest creation of Jim and Mike Ring. It offers the same high-quality craftsmanship as past Ringbrothers creations and has the same sex appeal.
Seaker was named for its future life as a Florida beachcombing truck. Seaker’s final product is stunning, with intricate detail work abounds.
Ringbrothers, for example, designed and built the truck’s firewall, running boards, floor, side panels, firewall, floor, floors, sides, airbox, engine cover, fan shroud, and firewall. Ringbrothers also fabricated larger wheel wells and added a 1.0 inch lift to the Blazer to accommodate 17-inch Circle Racing wheels shod with BF Goodrich all terrain tires. Seaker’s interior features a rich brown leather interior with a modern dashboard design and door hinges.
The real magic is under the hood, it could be argued. Seaker’s large V8 is powered by a General Motors-sourced LS3 crate motor. It uses a Holly Fuel system with a Flowmaster exhaust and produces 430 horses (321 kilowatts). This four-speed automatic transmission allows these ponies to reach all four wheels.
Seaker could be written about for many days. But, to truly appreciate the classic K5 Blazer, you must see it. Although you won’t be able see Seaker in person at the SEMA Show, we recommend clicking through our attached gallery to admire this magnificent beast.
