Chevrolet gave the Trax small crossover a masculine look and some serious off-road attitude in preparation for SEMA.
The new facelifted Trax will be displayed in Las Vegas as a rugged version of the SEMA concept. The Active concept was originally a 2017MYTrax AWD version. It received a wider suspension and 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. A few cosmetic changes have been made to the front and back fascias. Additionally, a Thule basket with an LED light bar attached to the roof has received extra cargo space.
The 2017 Trax facelift features the same turbocharged four-cylinder with 138 horsepower (102 Kilowatts) & 148 pound-feet (220 Newton-meters). This is exclusively delivered through a six speed automatic transmission. It can be ordered with either a front-wheel-drive configuration or an optional AWD one.
You can get the cheapest version for $21,895 (including $895 delivery) and the equivalent AWD version for $23,395 if both are in the LS trim. The Premier is the highest-spec version at the opposite end of the price range. Chevy Are asking for $26,995 or $28,495, respectively.
The 2017MY welcomes safety technologies such as Side Blind Zone Alert and Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Departure Warning. The base model also comes with a rearview cam and an updated seven-inch MyLink infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
