SEMA: Honda S2000-Powered BMW 3 Series E30 arrives

Eneos, Japan’s largest oil company is bringing an E30 BMW 3 Series and an engine swap from a Honda S2000 to the SEMA show. A Honda Acty pickup is also available with a matching bike at the back.

Faruk Kugay, Formula Drift Pro-class driver, owns this E30. Faruk Kugay started out with a 1985 BMW 318i. He then switched to a Honda F20C engine from an S2000, making 240 horsepower (179kilowatts). It was a way for him to have something similar to the E30-generation.
M3 But it is likely to be at a much lower price. A few other mods are also available. An AEM intake and Borla stainless-steel cat-back exhaust allow the engine to breathe. A custom wiring harness is also included and a tucked radiator are used to make the 2000s Honda engine work in an 1980s BMW. The S2000’s six speed gearbox houses the mill, while the rear has a limited slip differential. This configuration is still CARB-legal. Pandem V1.5 widebody kit, E30 M3 Evo 2, rear wing, and carbon-fiber roof panel are used to outfit the car. This extra width allows for 17-inch Rotiform wheels measuring 9.5 inches in front and 11 inches back. The suspension is equipped with KW Variant 3 coilovers and the brakes are an E36M3. The reinforced body features a four-point inner roll bar and a reinforced frame.

Neil Tjin, Tjin Edition owns the Honda-powered Honda kei truck. This tiny pickup is sporty with a new front bumper and flares as well as fender flares, spoilers at the rear and a metal spoiler at its tailgate. All lighting is now LED. The body is finished in a Seafoam green and has yellow-painted 13-inch tires. Sport seats are available inside with yellow upholstery. The Super73-ZX electric bike is a custom Honda model. It features a Seafoam Green frame with yellow parts for the wheels, seats and wheels.
