A new brand from Slovenia has arrived on the scene, with a supercar/hypercar which promises to rival Lamborghini and Pagani.
We are pleased to oblige a new supercar/hypercar manufacturer to come on the scene.
Provoco’s parent company Shayton is the brand name for this Slovenian brand. Equilibrium is the model and promises to be up there among the best. Yes, Lamborghini and Pagani.
Andrej Stanta, Dominik Cernelic designed the Shayton Equilibrium. Their goal was to create a supercar that would be a perfect storm. The Equilibrium will feature a carbon-titanium frame and a forged aluminum alloy suspension. Carbon-titanium wheels will keep the weight down as well as carbon body panels. The curb weight total will be 1200kg (2640 lbs).
This car is not yet built and has ambitious specs. The engine will be a V12 with unspecified displacement and a power output of 1084 horsepower (1099 PS / 808kW) and 930 Nm (686lb-ft). The transmission will be a sequential gearbox. These two points are not mentioned in the press release.
Shayton is happy to provide the numbers. From a standing start, the sprint takes 8.9 seconds. The top speed is more than 400 km/h (249 miles/h).
Bremo carboceramic brakes from Bremo will reign in those thousands of horses, while aerodynamic design will add 750 kg to the car’s downforce at 300 km/h (186 MPH).
The weight distribution will be 47/53 front/back. Akrapovic will supply a carbon/titanium sports exhaust.
These carbon-titanium wheels are 9×20-inch in the front and 12,5×21 at the back. The tires will be Pirelli Pzero 35/20 and 365/30/21, front and back.
The interior will feature a leather- and Alcantara-look with carbon fiber and brushed aluminium trims.
Shayton will only build 20 Equilibrium units per year plus a few special editions.
