Shelby American has launched the Baja 700.
Baja 700 is based on the 2011-2014 Ford SVT Raptor and features a slightly revised exterior, with hood stripes as well as special edition graphics. The truck features a front skid plate as well as 18-inch wheels with BFGoodrich KM2 All-Terrain tires. Customers can also order Rogue Racing bumpers and LED lights, as well as power-deployable side steps.
Interior design is largely unchanged, but it features Katzkin leather seats and a three gauge dash pod. It also has an individual-number dash plaque. Special floor mats are also included.
Under the hood, there are even more changes. The 6.2-liter V8 engine is equipped with a new fuel injector and larger throttle bodies. A 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger has been added. These modifications have resulted in an engine that produces more than 700 horsepower (522 kW).
Rouge Racing control arms are also included on the truck.
Production will be limited at 50 units, and pricing starts from $45,000, excluding the base Raptor.
