Shmee Laps the Nurburgring in a 560-Horsepower Toyota Supra

There are many other upgrades available.

Tuners worked quickly to transform the Toyota Supra’s turbocharged 3.0-liter Inline-Six engine, which was sourced from BMW. A tune and an exhaust system were all that was needed to make the Toyota Supra’s turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine more powerful. However, we are now more than a year after its launch and it is much easier to get more power. Shmee150 is seen driving a Supra tuned to produce 560 horsepower (418kilowatts), and then taking it around the Nurburgring.

The Toyota produced 340 horsepower (253 kW), and 369 poundfeet (599 Newton-meters), of torque. Shmee’s friend Fabian, the owner of the tuned Supra, added a bigger turbo and a downpipe to increase the power and torque to 560 horsepower and 538 lb.ft (730 Nm). The upgrades don’t stop there. The Supra has a brand new suspension that is tuned for the Nurburgring. It also features lightweight 18-inch wheels, AP Racing’s race brakes and semi-slick tires. The Supra’s exterior features a unique wrap that includes a gloss black rear diffuser, and an AC Schnitzer front splittingter.

Shmee notes the unique sound signature of the car once she has completed the famous track. Fabian removed the active exhaust sound system, which pipes noise into the cabin. This resulted in a more natural sound inside the car. Shmee also noted how the Supra handles the track’s many twists, turns and elevation changes. These are the exact things that make it so difficult.

There are many tuned Toyota Supra models today. And there is a growing aftermarket market. There are powerful creations, such as the Manhart one that pulls an additional 110 horsepower from the mill. You can also swap the engine. If you don’t like the aftermarket scene, the 2021 Supra will give it an extra 382 horsepower (285 kW).
