Apparatjik, an experimental band, has transformed a smart fortwo-electric drive into a disco ball. The vehicle, which is glare-inducing from the roof to the hub cap, has been completely covered in reflective glass tiles. It will be featured in Apparatjik’s film “Pixel City”, which will be shown at the Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin on March 26th and 27th.

The Apparatjik members include Magne Furuholmen, Guy Berryman, Coldplay’s Guy Berryman, Jonas Bjerre, and Martin Terefe, a music producer.

The interactive display that collects data and turns it into songs is part of their experimental art installation, “Apparatjik Light Space Modular”. The prestigious Deutsches Kammerorchester will perform the song later, accompanied by an incredible image show called ‘Apparat TV.

Through the museum’s glass walls, the projections will be projected out of a cube six meters tall. Apparatjik will perform live inside the cube as the installation’s peak.
