For the South American market, the new Volkswagen Saveiro compact pickup was announced. The new design is VW-fresh, and the 1.6-litre engine has two fuel options.
A new version of Volkswagen Saveiro will be available for South American customers. The Saveiro compact pickup was designed and manufactured in Brazil. It is a competitor to vehicles like the Chevrolet Montana or Fiat Strada. These images are the first of the small utility. They show how it’s now closer to other VWs in terms of its design. This is particularly true for models in the upper trim.
A flex-fuel engine can be used to power two engines. It will each produce two outputs of power depending on the fuel source. A 1.6-litre VHT engine (Volkswagen High Torque), when filled with petrol, produces 74kW (101hp), while ethanol produces slightly more power at 77kW (104hp).
There are three trim levels available: a 1.6l base, 1.6l Trend, and 1.6l trooper. The 1.6l is the most basic model and comes with unpainted bumpers as well as very basic interior trim. It’s only purpose is to work. The Trend is a more advanced version that includes body colour-coded bumpers. It is sometimes called a freight car with flair. The Trooper model is the most popular in the range and is designed for active, younger people. It is also visually more distinct.
