Spend 14 minutes with The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63

You can now make your lazy Saturday even more enjoyable.

After taking a detailed look at the 2019 BMW Z4M40i as well as the Bugatti Divo in detail, YouTube’s SHmee150 has another treat for us. He was able to get up close and personal the Lamborghini Superveloce Jota. This was not any SVJ. It was a special edition with the “63” symbol linking to 1963, the year that the company was founded.

Yesterday was the first time we saw the SVJ 63. This video was taken the night before the official unveiling of the car. Now, we have the opportunity to view the aero-heavy Aventador in daylight so that we can better appreciate its heavy body. As the limited-run version does not have hardware upgrades, it is all about the special livery that proudly displays the “63” logo.

Lamborghini says it created this exterior finish in order to highlight the extensive use of carbon fiber. We can only say that the black-and-white duo looks great on the SVJ 63. However, we think the Aventador, which is the flagship model, would look good in any combination of colors we can imagine.

What’s next for Aventador? We’re betting on a roadster version the SVJ 63 as a last hurrah. Lamborghini has more examples its V12 supercar. It is already hinting at the Aventador’s replacement: it will retain the naturally aspirated engine and add electrification.

There are some really good looking cars at Pebble Beach, including the Aventador, Divo and Z4 Tuatara as well as the Polestar 1. Infiniti Prototype 10 and the Mercedes EQ Silver Arrow are just a few of the street-legal vehicles on display. Audi PB18 E-Tron is another spectacular showcar. And don’t forget Singer’s 911 DLS and Porsche’s Project Gold.
