This is the second prototype in pre-production and we hear its twin-turbo 5.9-liter V8.
This car is the second prototype in pre-production. That explains why there are no side mirrors. The Tuatara is even more exotic because it sits very low to the ground. Pagani Its unique shape makes it look like a spaceship on wheels, thanks to its unusual shape. The exhaust note from this pearlescent white supercar is also heard. While it isn’t exciting, it is still an interesting sound.
The SSC Tuatara was filmed at Miller Motorcars in Greenwich. It showed off its carbon fiber- and leather-clad cabin. The interior is not a production car. It’s obvious that the materials used in the cabin aren’t as expensive as you would expect for a car this price.
SSC North America will produce only 100 units at its new West Richland factory. People behind the hypercar are confident that the Tuatara will reach 300 mph (483 km/h) thanks to its powerful engine and lightweight, aerodynamic body. The twin-turbo 5.9-liter V8 with twin turbochargers will generate up to 1,750 horsepower on E85. It will also redline at an astonishing 8,800 rpm. Before fluids are added, all that power must move 1,247 kg (2,750 lbs). The sleek body will have a drag coefficient just 0.279.
It is still to be seen if the Tuatara will allow SSC to regain the title of fastest production car. This title was held by the Ultimate Aero at 256.18 mph (412.28 kph) from 2007 until 2010, when the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport took the crown. It will need to beat the 277.87-mph (446.97 kph) Koenigsegg Agera RS record.
