Stellantis will launch 20 electrified Stellantis models within the next 24 hours.
Stellantis is the fourth-largest manufacturer of cars in the world and has 14 brands under its umbrella. As we reported earlier, many of these brands will be electrified over the next few years, including Lancia and Alfa Romeo. In the next 24 month, 20 electrified nameplates will be available: 10 pure electric cars, 9 plug-in hybrids and one model with both PHEV or EV powertrains.
The document includes a product roadmap that shows which North American models will get a charging port in the next two-years. Dodge will unveil a plug in hybrid model in 2022. Although the identity of the vehicle has not been revealed, the Dodge company is only selling the Charger and Challenger.
Jeep will debut its first EV in the first half 2023. The EV will be a small crossover that was built in Poland, and will be twinned to Alfa Romeo and Fiat models. Stellantis already plans to invest in Tychy to allow for hybrids and electric vehicles. Motor1.com Italy suggests that the Jeep will replace the Renegade, while the Fiat EV is expected to succeed the 500X.
The product roadmap is limited to H1 2023. It does not include the previously teased Dodge electric muscle car. The Ram full-size electric pickup truck also isn’t included in the product roadmap. They are both expected to be available sometime in 2024. Stellantis has no plans for electrification at Chrysler within the next two-years. This means that even though the Airflow Vision preview is coming to fruition, the zero emission crossover will not be available before the second half 2023.
