Steven Spielberg Will Direct the New Film "Bullitt".

We are more satisfied with the car that chases us.

Since its introduction in 1960, the Ford Mustang was a regular movie car star. Its car chase performance in “Bullitt”, the movie about the Ford Mustang, was the most memorable. Ford’s three Mustangs are based on Frank Bullitt’s model.

We have some good news for fans of the film, Mustang Bullitt or Frank Bullitt. According to an entertainment publication, Hollywood, Steven Spielberg will be directing a new movie about “Bullitt”.

Hollywood clarifies that the new Bullitt movie will not be a remake from the 1968 original. It will instead be an original story that centers on Frank Bullitt (the main protagonist, played by Steve McQueen). Kristie Macosko Krieger and Spielberg will co-produce the film. The script will be written by Josh Singer, Academy Award winner.

McQueen was a San Francisco Police Department detective on a hunt to find the mob bosses who killed a witness in a case that he was working on. McQueen considered the role a turning point in his career. However, the car chase scene in the film is one of the most memorable in cinema.

Will we be seeing another famous car chase scene in Bullitt’s new movie? Although it is more likely that this will not be a remake, it’s still unknown. Spielberg has a history of car chases.

Sources informed Hollywood that there’s no script and that deals are still being finalized. We don’t expect the new Bullitt movie this year.
