SRT announced that a new Stryker green paint is now available and that a Grand Touring package will be available for the Viper. Both of these packages will be displayed at NAIAS Detroit.

SRT describes Stryker Green as an evolution from the Snakeskin Green of 2008, and it comes with enhanced yellow and green pigments that give the look of “liquid mercury”. The process of painting the Viper in Stryker green takes around eight hours. It involves applying a base coat, followed by a mid-coat with a green-tined finish and finally a clear coat.

Stryker Green paint is added to the SRT Viper's Grand Touring package.

Grand Touring includes Nappa leather seats, Bilstein DampTronic select suspension in two modes and five modes of Electronic Stability Control. These goodies were previously reserved for the GTS model. SRT reports that this kit will only be available with the Stryker Green and Venom Black exterior paint schemes
