They’ll have a special edition for the Detroit Auto Show in Jan, but they will also be showing these two spec-tailed cars next month at an event 6,400 miles away. The Forester STI, Impreza STI, and Impreza STI are the highlights of the Tokyo Auto Salon’s debut in Japan.

Subaru Forester STI, Impreza STI Concepts Get Visual Upgrades

Subaru’s Stand at the event, which will take place from January 11 to 13 STI is not new to upgrading Forester models. It introduced a Forester tS production model in the domestic market in 2014. This was followed by a similar version in Australia in 2016. The latest version of their compact crossover is a concept that features a variety of aerodynamic parts. It also has 19-inch wheels and Brembo six piston calipers at its front axle. Although not overly interesting, it is still fascinating to see the STI badge on a crossover.

Subaru Tecnica International’s other concept is based on the JDM Imreza with a variety of custom parts inside and outside. The exterior of this model also features a subtle aerobody kit, as well as a few cosmetic upgrades. However, it is nothing to be proud of. Subaru has not released images of the interior, but it claims that the cabin is finished with Bordeaux with a “high texture.”

Both STI models will be sharing the spotlight at the Tokyo Auto Salon, where they will be joined by a Levorg wagon or a WRX STI – each fitted with custom parts.
