This gathering will provide meals for 500,000 people in need.
Your personal car is a great way to maintain social distance. Although there are some limitations to driving a car, it doesn’t mean that you can’t have a lot of fun. Are you running out of ideas? This is a cool idea I found in the Guinness World Records.
Subaru Tecnica International Subiefest in conjunction with Subaru American Subaru owners have just announced that they hold the record for the largest Subaru car parade in the world. Subaru owners drove 1,751 Subaru cars to beat the 2015 record of 549 vehicles.
This record was part of the Subaru Tecnica International (STI), Subiefest team’s annual Subaru fan gathering in the United States. Instead of meeting face-to-face, attendees formed a huge queue of cars that “ensured attendees safety during the pandemic” and made history.
This is not the best part. Every registration that makes a donation will be matched by Subaru of America and Feeding America. The charity move will provide about 500,000 meals.
“In these difficult times, we all seek stability in our daily life,” Alan Bethke (Senior Vice President of Marketing, Subaru of America) commented. We hope this donation to Feeding America will allow us to provide comfort and stability for those who are struggling with hunger in America. While we all need to be safe, let’s remember to give back where we can.
Feeding America, the largest national hunger relief organization, is located in Washington. It provides “crucial assistance” to communities hardest hit by the pandemic.
