What would you pay $40K for a new model car?
Rolls-Royce has entered the toy market in a way only luxury brands could. A 1:8 scale Rolls-Royce Cullinan costs $17,000. Customers can customize the model for a much higher price. This Supercar Blondie video shows the model in action. It costs $40,000 and can be customized to a higher price.
Supercar Blondie begins by opening the rear of the Cullinan to reveal the remote control. The remote controls the lights in the interior, exterior and rear of the car. It also opens the hood to reveal the scale version.
According to Supercar Blondie. The model has over 1000 handmade parts. Tinted embellishments can be found in even the most hidden places, such as the rear HVAC controls located between the front seats. Each model is built by over 450 people, so the tiny crossover takes more time to put together.
Rolls-Royce wants Cullinan customers of the Scale Model to match their Crossover. Rolls-Royce offers a smaller version in every color that can be found on the real thing. The inside finishes, such as the stitching and embroidery headrests, are identical. The 1:8 Cullinan is able to drive and has almost everything that you would find on a full-sized model. It is similar to the services offered by Amalgam.
The Cullinan model is mounted on a gloss-black base and has a clear display case. The removable window allows you to access the car from anywhere without removing the entire cover.
