Jimny Survive prepares the SUV for off-roading. It has a higher ride height and knobby tires. The front bumper is made of steel and features an integrated winch, tow hooks, and a bumper. Guards cover the headlights and diamond-plate steel pieces decorate the front and back fenders. Roof rack doubles as exterior roll cage, with bars attaching at the bases of the A- and B-pillars. In case of an SUV getting stuck, the recovery boards that are on the Jimny will help.
The Suzuki Jimny Sierra Pickup Style concept will also be presented at the Tokyo Auto Salon. It shows how small the off-roader can look like a tiny truck. The retro grille is a new design that replaces the traditional five-slot layout and features an old-school logo. The lower fascia now includes a pair o tow hooks. The company also raises the ride height and installs brawnier fenders. Suzuki adds a unique styling touch to the sides of the truck by adding strips of faux wood trim. The lumber suits the truck’s retro look. The bar above the bed is equipped with four LED spotlights that illuminate the road ahead.
The Jimny may not be your style, but Suzuki also has the Swift Sports Yellow Rev at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The exterior color I have is a High Chroma Yellow Pearl with a gray-white stripe running from the front fender to my driver’s door window. The bright color around the vehicle’s base is split by a matte black front splitter. Side sills also split it with matte black side splitters.
