The G Wagen is from Japan and it’s absolutely adorable.
EUR134,809 – or the equivalent to $152,057 – this is the difference in price between a Mercedes-AMG G63 base and a Suzuki Jimny from Germany. These two off-roaders are among the most famous and longest-surviving. However, while Magna Steyr’s model is a luxury SUV, the Japanese-built model is a rock-climber. We are going to show you how to get the look of a more expensive vehicle while saving money.
Fast Car Service Dubai, a specialist in aftermarket products, has created a stunning body kit for Jimny which transforms the small SUV into a replica G63. This comprehensive package features a new front bumper and hood, bullbar, and bulging front wheels arches, all of which are derived from the G-Class. Headlights taken from another off-roader, which has been around for decades.
Jeep Wrangler
In its current-generation JL guise.
Fast Car Service borrowed the front turn signals from a , from which they designed the mirrors. Even though the Jimny has dual exhaust side tips, the original AMG exhaust only works on the left. Although it doesn’t have the V8 power of the G63, the four-cylinder engine sounds great thanks to the new exhaust.
Looking back at the rear, the bumper and taillights are an exact replica of the G-Class’s bumper and taillights. The spare wheel cover is also spitting image. This includes a rearview camera to improve visibility. However, it shouldn’t prove difficult to park the Jimny due its small size. The modifications include custom absorbers and bolt-on rear wheel arches.
ArabGT set out to run a 0-62mph (0-100 km/h) sprint. However, the car’s original 100-horsepower, naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine is still in use. We’ll say that it can’t match the twin-turbo, 4.0-liter G63, which has 577 horsepower.
Everyone loves The Jimny
What is the cost of the package? Fast Car Service will give you a set 18-inch wheels from the G-Class for $12,250. That’s not bad at all. The Jimny will also be fully repainted for the same amount. The cabin is quite simple, but the SUV has a larger touchscreen that the OEM unit.
Although the Jimny looks very much like the G63, the bolt-on body kit is not as effective at making it look. However, the size difference is a clear indicator of which Jimny is. The Suzuki measures 3645 millimeters (143.5 in) longer than the Mercedes at 1080mm (42.5in). It is also significantly shorter (1645mm/64.8in compared with 1931mm/76in) and it has a much lower height (1730mm/68.1in compared to 1969mm/77.5in).
