There is still hope. It could be fixed
Remember the Toyota Supra which crashed at a track day last October? It is believed that it was the first time a sports car has hit the tire barrier. We don’t know if there have been any other Supra crashes. However, it appears that someone will save the car. The Albon YouTube will repair the Supra A90, also known as the Supra TA90.
The damage to the left side of the car was not severe, but it is obvious that the steering wheel as well as the side-impact airbags have been deployed. This basically means that parts of the interior need to be replaced. After that, diagnostics work will also be required.
There is obvious damage to the body, including rips in front bumper and hood. The driver’s door and rear fenders are damaged by crinkles. We also see some BMW-branded suspension parts. We hope that the Supra’s new owner will restore its shine and return it to the track.
It will be interesting to see where the future takes the wrecked sports car. Jackie Ding, the former owner of the car, could buy it back after having it fully repaired by its current owner. Ding may be looking for a successor to his TA90, so we doubt that this will happen. It’s possible, though. Ding admitted in the video that he would fix it if it was worth it.
We look forward to a successful restoration process in any case.
