Tauro Sport Auto unveiled the new V8 Spider.
The Pontiac Solstice is a model based on the Saturn Sky and Opel GT. It also features Daewoo G2X bodywork that borrows some cues from Alfa Romeo C8 Competizione and Fisker Karma.
The interior was taken straight from the GM parts bin. Only notable exceptions include a leather-wrapped dashboard and Alcantara trim, as well as an aluminum gear knob for models with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The GM-sourced 6.2-liter V8 engine produces 440 PS (334 kW / 434 hp), and 586 Nm (432 lb ft) of torque. A couple of performance packages are also offered by the company that increase the engine’s output to 480 PS (353kW/ 473 HP), 530PS (390kW/ 523HP) and more than 651 PS (478kW/ 641 HP).
Production will be limited at 30 units, and prices will start at EUR100,000. (€125,740 / Ps80,590).
