Prices for donor cars start at $354,000
Everrati Automotive Limited was established in 2019 with one mission: to restore and modify classic models and make them fit for the new electrified age in the automotive industry. It’s based upon the Porsche 911, which is the firm’s flagship model. It is amazing in every way.
The project began with a completely restored 1991 Porsche 911. It was disassembled to its monocoque chassis. All bodywork, powertrain and interior components were removed. The next step was to water-blast the car to remove its zinc coating. Next, the carbon fiber widebody kits were created.
This package replaces the original steel rear wings, hood and front wings. It also replaces them by custom-made carbon fiber parts. The doors are made from the same material but are strengthened with high-strength metal for better side impact protection. A carbon-fiber roof can be added to your 964-gen 911, but only if it doesn’t have a sunroof.
The original flat-six engine has been replaced with a modern, battery-powered electric motor. Everrati claims it produces 500 horsepower (373 Kilowatts) and 369 pounds-feet (599 Newton-meters), making it more powerful than the 964. According to Everrati, the car can go 0-60 miles per hour (0-100 km/h) in a mere four seconds and can travel 150+ miles on a single charge.
Everrati proudly states that it made many modifications to the chassis of the vehicle to make it more responsive to increased power. During the development, Everrati even had Tim Harvey (ex-BTCC Champion) as a consultant. Some suspension components, such as the aluminum rear trailing suspension arms were kept in their original form. Others were upgraded with newer and more modern parts by Tractive.
The Signature widebody retains the essence of the 911 in terms of its rear-biased weight distribution, and the ‘feel of its controls. It is brought up to date by the electric powertrain’s incredible performance. It is amazing to think that future generations can still enjoy the 964 in an age of zero-emission mobility.
Everrati states that it is currently performing final testing and evaluations on the Signature 911 and expects to start deliveries to customers in late 2020. The full program starts at PS250,000 (or $354,000 at current exchange rates), plus applicable taxes for a donor car supplied by the customer.
