The Tesla Model X is getting new details, which will be revealed this year.
According to the Californian EV producer, the vehicle will combine the functionality and space of a sport utility vehicle with seven seats and the uncompromised electric car performance. The concept’s falcon wings doors will be featured on the production model. This “allows easy access to the third-row seat even in the tightest of parking spaces”.
The Model X will have the same options for batteries as the Model S. The 60 kWh-battery will power the entry-level model and it will produce 380 HP (280kW) while the 85kWh-version will provide the same power but with greater range. The 85 kWh Performance model will be equipped with a 691 HP (508kW) Dual Motor All Wheel Drive system that has a range of approximately 380 km (235 mi).
