This EV build is not for everyone.
Ryan had to modify the front end of his car to make it stand out from the rest. He was able to create a bumper that is somehow similar to the Volkswagen ID range with the help of his peers. The wheels were next. Ryan had to make a set aero wheels for the EV look. We think they look great, especially considering their non-symmetrical design, which Ryan and his team somehow balanced.
The powertrain is next. This electric S2000 produces around 500 horsepower thanks to a Tesla drive unit. A small amount of battery power powers the rear-mounted electric motor. For a total of 38 kWh, there are two Chevrolet Volt batteries. This gives you a range of 120 miles. That’s pretty good for everyday use. Ryan has made some other modifications to make this electric S2000 work. Ryan even managed the complicated electronics. Ryan plans to use this car daily to collect data for his next EV build. Rywire Motorsport Electronics may be able build one for him – even better than the clean-looking S2000 EV revival.
