Although the 2021 Cadillac Escalade may not be the most likely vehicle to become a monster truck it was created by Adry53. Adry53 is best known for creating modernized American muscle cars. Recently, Adry53 turned Adry53’s attention to an Escalade ESV, making the big Caddy a snowcat and mudrunner.

Adry53’s modifications seem completely out of place on our Escalade. This is part of why we love them so much. This gives this rendering a retro feel. Although we’ve seen lifted “Slades” before, they typically ride on huge chrome wheels and low profile tires that are no thicker than a rubberband. It’s both funny and inspiring to see one that is built for off-road use.

It would be difficult to turn a real-life Escalade into such a mud bogger, but it is possible. Many of the underpinnings of the Cadillac SUV are shared with the Chevrolet Silverado 150 and GMC Sierra 1500. Both have live rear axles, and can be equipped with aftermarket solid front wheels. It would also be possible to swap in the low-range transfer cases for these trucks.

This project is likely a pipedream with a terrible budget. The 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe costs more than $85,000. We predict that an Escalade ESV fully equipped will run at least $100,000. It is unlikely that anyone would be willing to spend six figures on a luxury SUV. Perhaps Adry53’s rendering might inspire some wealthy eccentric. If they are reading this, we would love to drive it.
