Do not judge a book by its covers.

The 2022 Honda Civic has a more reserved look than the previous generation but it is still a great deal in this segment. The pricing remains fairly unchanged, with slight increases in the LX, Sport and EX trims, while the Touring variant retains its $28,300 starting price. With all options and accessories, the latest Honda Sedan will cost you $33,729

The EX and Sport trims have a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower (117kilowatts). The Touring trim is the most expensive variant of the 2022 Civic. It comes with a turbocharged 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower (134 kW). Both models can be connected to a CVT. There is no option for manual transmission. However, Honda will save you a row-yourself gearbox for the hatchback and Si. The vehicle comes standard with a set of handsome 18-inch alloy wheels. Buyers can choose gloss-black 18 inch rims for $1,706. For a sportier appearance, they can also order a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. We’re not sure that the optional wheels will be right for everyone but we think they would be great for those who want a little more attitude.

The Honda Performance Development (HPD), an optional package that adds more style to the 11th-generation sedan, is a refreshing change from the standard Honda. It adds a decklid spoiler and HPD emblems to the car, as well as skirts for the rear, sides, and front. The cost is $1,309 MSRP. Although the sporty bits will not immediately turn your car into a Type R, it is a nice addition. Many Civic enthusiasts will claim that the exterior of the next-gen Civic was an overcorrection by the design team. Honda fans can expect to see the Si, and Type R models in the coming months.
