Royal Customs Dubai introduces a high-end tuning kit for Porsche Cayman. It is called the “Alpha 1 Concept.”
[update] Alpha-N Performance GmbH sent us an email regarding the story. Royal Customs has copied their design and named the kit after it was previewed in 2012. It was based upon the previous-gen Cayman.
Since the introduction of the Cayman in November 2012 at Los Angeles Auto Show, the UAE-based aftermarket company has been working hard on a wide range of body kits. Production of the Alpha 1 Concept car will take just one month. There will only be three units.
This wide bodykit will include many carbon fiber bits, large air vents, and a large rear wings. It also includes a quad exhaust arrangement, rear diffuser, and custom exterior paint. The 911-style taillights look like they were taken from it, while the massive double seven-spoke alloys are huge.
It’s unknown at this time if there will be any hardware upgrades, but it is likely that the hotter Cayman S with a 325 HP flat-6 3.4-liter engine will power the car. Expect an increase in output which should reduce the Boxster coupe’s sprint time of 4.7 seconds (0-100 km/h), 0-62 mph).
