This could be a challenging, but rewarding, restoration project. It’s your decision.
The Countach Lamborghini gave the world a modern version of the legendary bull. Although some people aren’t convinced by the return of the Lamborghini, others (many) have the opportunity to buy one. The new Countach has already been sold.
What are your options? The classics are available for purchase at around half a millimillion dollars on the market. If that price tag is too high, you can find a lower-cost example, but it will need to be fully restored.
You can see more photos at UK’s Historicals, but you should know what you are dealing with at this point.
This unit is a Lamborghini CountachLP500 S. Also known as the 5000 S, it has a larger engine and a better interior. The latter is obviously not present in this example and requires extensive restoration. According to the listing, it was in good condition up until 2008 when it was taken to a body shop for a complete strip-down and respray as well as interior refurbishment. The company that had been working on the car got winded up and the car was left in its current condition.
According to the seller, the car was complete with a new windshield and all the parts that had been removed. It’s more work than assembly, but it’s not impossible, especially with classics. It only has 61.840 kilometers (38.426 miles) left.
Historics believes that this Countach might be worth up to PS180,000, or approximately $250,000. Here’s the link to the source. Restored items are not guaranteed to succeed.
