The SUV has been boosted by Dahler from Germany to 223 horsepower.
Although the BMW X2 has only been available for a few months, tuners have already begun to work their magic on this small SUV. Dahler, a German shop, is the first to do so. The shop has reworked and given the BMW a more aggressive appearance with the Competition Line package.
One, the surrounding silver grille has been replaced with a matching style that matches the body’s color. The factory look is maintained in the lower section of the fixture, while the upper black section blends seamlessly into the body. To continue the aggressive theme, the dual kidney grille has been completely blacked.
Aftermarket X2 rides on custom 10-spoke Dahler wheels. They are available in sizes 20- and 21-inch. Dahler states that although the wheels shown here are silvered, buyers have the option to choose from many different styles and colors. The upgrades go beyond skin.
Four power upgrades are available for the Dahler X2. The gas 118i produces 158 horsepower (117kilowatts) as well as 197 pound-feet (226 Newton-meters), an increase from the 136 hp (101 kW) version. The 120i’s power is also higher, with 223 horsepower (166 kW) as well as 250 lbft (340Nm) of torque. The diesel options get an increase too: the 18d produces 174 horsepower (129 kW), and 287lb-ft (390Nm) of torque. The 20d produces 220hp (164 kW) as well as 331lb-ft (451 Nm) respectively.
These power upgrades are paired with stiffer chassis thanks to Dahler’s sports suspension kit and a variety of exhaust options, each tuned to a specific tune. Dahler Competition Line is also available for those who want a little more customization. However, the shop does not specify what this upgrade will include or how much it will cost.
