Update: Revision of the lead time for Casper camper conversion.

It’s now that winter is waning in northern hemisphere. We need to focus our attention on outdoor adventure. Flowcamper, a German company, offers an attractive solution for those who want small motorhomes that have limited off-road capabilities. The Casper is a distinctive model. This is both literally and metaphorically, which we’ll discuss in a bit.

A lot of Nordic spruce is used to make a fully-equipped kitchen that includes storage, a refrigerator (30 liters), a sink, pressurized hot water, and provisions for an oven. You can use the water system from the kitchen to make an outdoor shower. For four-person travel, two rear seats can be retained with seatbelts and can fold down to make room for a twin bed. You can set the bed up without having to remove the seatbelts. There is also a mini garage in the back that can be used for storage.

A pop-top roof can be added to the Casper for additional sleeping space. You can add a tent with roof sleeping to your Casper, or you can choose from a variety of electricity options that include solar power and batteries. This T6.1 camper is unique among others due to its clever use of space. However, it stands out thanks to the Flowcamper exterior graphics and eye-popping colors.

Volkswagen does not sell the T6 in America so this rig is only available in Europe. Uncrate reported a cost of $64,000. The cost of a Casper will vary depending on the options you choose, and each Casper is customizable.

Flowcamper does not stock inventory. Once a customer places an online order, conversions start. The company website states that lead times from order to delivery can be as long as 16 month for some models. The Casper’s lead times for the T6.1 fall within the 6–10 month range.
