The Genesis G90 Limousine is Korea’s Answer to Maybach

We won’t be able to get it in the U.S.

The new Genesis G90 luxury sedan is well-designed. The 2020 redesign makes it more imposing with a triangular grille, slim LED headlights and a completely redesigned interior. It will be arriving in the States within a few months. The G90 limousine extended, which was unveiled in Korea earlier this week, will not be available to Americans.

You won’t notice the difference between the G90 limo and the standard model if you look at it from the side. The G90 limo is noticeably larger from the sides. The wheelbase is 135.8 inches (3.450 millimeters), the total length is 216 in (5.945 mm), while the limo measures in at 59.3in (1.505 mm).

Other than the size, little else has changed. The G90 limousine still has the same 5.0-liter V8 that produces 420 horsepower (313 megawatts). The G90 limo also features the same all-wheel drive system, eight speed automatic transmission and the same 19-inch wheels. Standard G90 comes with two smaller engines: a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo 3.3 liter V6 and a 3.9-liter V6.

The G90 Limousine in Korea starts at $138,000 (W155,110,000) at the current exchange rate. The G90 5.0 standard G90 is priced at approximately $105,000 (W118 780,000). This represents a significant $33,000 difference. Genesis has not yet released pricing information for the U.S. G90 but we anticipate a high asking price when the sedan goes on sale in a few months.
