The Indian equivalent price is $15,654.
Sometimes, a foreign vehicle turns up in our possession that is so bizarre that we have to share it with everyone. This is the Force Motors Trax Cruiser, which was imported from India. It looks like a combination of a Mercedes Benz G-Class with a J70 Series Toyota Land Cruiser. There are several seating options inside that can accommodate up to 13 people.
The Trax Cruiser’s seating arrangement is unusual to accommodate so many people. The Trax Cruiser 10-person version can seat three people in the front row, three more people in the second row and some cargo space. The 13-person version can hold four people against each wall and has room for three people in front and three in the middle.
To make it easier for people to reach the benches at the back, the rear hatch door is large. A step can be deployed. If there is no one in the back, the seats can be folded up to create more space.
Although the cabin is quite basic, it has some amenities such as a small navigational display at the top of each stack. Power windows and power locks are available. Dual air conditioning is an option, but it seems more practical for driving in India with a group of 13 people.
A 2.6-liter, diesel-powered four-cylinder produces power. It produces just 90 horsepower (67 Kilowatts) or 184 pound-feet (253 Newton-meters). Only the rear wheels are driven by the five-speed manual.
The Trax Cruiser’s price starts at 1,147,427 Rupees (or $15,654 at the current exchange rate). The most expensive variant costs 1,328,225 rupees ($18,000. It’s unlikely that you will see an SUV with such bare bones anytime soon.
