Alynn Pierce lost her first Tundra while trying to save lives in the California Camp Fire.
The Camp Fire devastated Northern California in the latter part of last year. It is likely that you remember it. If not for its terrible spread and the loss of lives, then for Alynn Pierce’s white Toyota Tundra pickup truck. Also, the Pandra, as he is affectionately called, was there to save lives. He was a Paradise nurse and drove through the flames to rescue people. This action saved many lives, but almost destroyed his truck. Toyota presented the hero with , a brand-new model just one week later. It was an upgraded Tundra TRD Pro. Pierce and Rockstar Garage also gave the vehicle a scorching makeover to honor Pandra’s memory. Probably.
For a special paint job, the Toyota was taken to Team + Bullet Liner Murrieta in California. Technically, the coating applied to the pickup’s exterior was not paint but a white bed liner coating. The thick texture of the bedliner material was ideal for replicating the look of Pierce’s original truck.
After the base coat was applied, the actual paintwork was completed by a specialist who flew in literally from the other end of the country. The Tundra was given a burnt look by using several shades of brown. Final details were done with an airbrush. As you can see, it is astonishingly accurate. The “Pandra Pro”, in addition to paying homage its burned sibling with its suspension lift, also features beefy tires and special accessories.
Although the future of the truck is not yet clear, we believe it will be appreciated and recognized by most people in Northern California, if they don’t mind the whole region. The Camp Fire, which blazed over 153,000 acres and destroyed nearly 19,000 structures in California, was the most devastating fire in state history. Pierce also lost his Paradise town and hospital. 85 people were killed in it.
