On March 11, we will find out how much is left.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer has almost arrived. A livestream will reveal the full-size SUV on March 11. Jeep has posted another set of teaser images on its social media channels to remind us.
These images show a luxurious machine that seems to love chrome. Both in appearance and size, the bold grille is definitely more prominent than that used on the Grand Wagoneer Concept. Although the headlights appear larger, the white LED strip at the top of the grille is now gone. We suspect that the chrome grille will continue to attract lots of attention.
A close-up photo shows a chrome McIntosh speaker grille that looks very similar to the one in the concept. These prominent round speakers were found in the dash of the concept, so it is possible that the production SUV will have a similar dash to the concept. Touchscreens will soon be commonplace, with a central screen of 12.1 inches and a digital display for driver at 12.3 inches, respectively. The concept featured a touchscreen for front-seat passengers and additional screens for rear-seat travelers. The teaser photos show leather seats that closely match the concept.
The body-on-frame Grand Wagoneer would be a direct competitor for the Cadillac Escalade, and Lincoln Navigator. The Wagoneer would be available at a lower price to compete with the GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Suburban.
We will soon have all our questions answered. All our questions will be answered soon enough. The Grand Wagoneer debuts on March 11th at noon EST. You can watch it live at Motor1.com.
