GT Line kit will come standard on the stylish ProCeed wagon.
What do you get when you combine the heart of The Kia Ceed and the style of The Kia Ceed GT? The Kia Ceed GT Line. The Kia Ceed GT Line was officially unveiled at the 2018 Paris Auto Show. It shares the same basic design as the Ceed GT (201-horsepower, 150-kilowatt) but has many powertrain options.
The GT Line kit is available on the Ceed hatchback, wagon and the low-slung ProCeed . It includes chrome and gloss black details on the grille and trim-specific 17 inch wheels (18 inches are optional) and aggressive front and back fascias. The GT Line replaces the standard Ceed’s gray headliner with a black headliner. It also features a flat-bottom steering column (with paddle shifters for automatic-equipped models) and better-bolstered front chairs.
The power comes from either a turbocharged turbocharged turbocharged 2.0-liter three-cylinder engine of 118 horsepower (88-kilowatt), a turbocharged turbocharged turbocharged 1.5-liter four cylinder engine of 138-hp (103/kw), or a diesel-drinking turbocharged 4-cylinder of 1.6-liter. The latter is available in 113-hp (84) and 134-hp (135/100-kw). However, the ProCeed is only available with either the 138-hp(103-kw), or the 134hp (100 kw) gasoline engines. The standard six-speed manual transmission is used across all models, but a seven-speed dual clutch transmission is available for the four-cylinder (gas or diesel) engines.
The GT Line, like the standard Ceed is available with many modern features, including a touchscreen infotainment system that can display a 7.0 or 8.0 inch with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto compatibility, heated windshield, auto high-beams, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assistance. The Kia Ceed GT Line will be available in Europe from the beginning of this year. The Ceed GT Line will be slightly more expensive than its less-stylish counterpart, but significantly cheaper than the Ceed GT and ProCeed GT.
