The Legend Of The Unrecoverable Supr in The Mountains Of Japan

A70-fans: It’s not a pretty sight.

Alexi, an Australian blogger and drifter, moved to Japan in 2008. He wanted to continue his passion for driving sideways. A third-generation Toyota Supra that was destroyed in an accident in the mountains is rumored to have been found dead. Although he had no idea of whereabouts of the car, he eventually found it at the base of a steep hillside that was mostly covered in leaves.

The Supra’s cabin is in pretty poor shape considering that the rear window was smashed and the driver’s door was open. Some parts, including the steering wheel, are missing. This A70 is a mixture of leaves, rocks and spider webs. It was probably abandoned many years ago.

In fact, YouTube has a commenter who claims to know the story and says that it’s been there since 1992. He was speeding and lost control of his Supra. The Supra went down the hill before coming to an abrupt halt at the spot where it had been sitting for 25 years. Although the owner had plans to save the car, he decided to abandon it. This information cannot be verified at the moment, so please take his comments with a grain of salt.

It is possible that this A70 was raced and upgraded during its lifetime, although it is difficult to say for certain. Surprisingly the car’s body isn’t as bad as it looks and seems to still have its wheels. This makes us more curious about the fate of this poor Supra.
