The Mercedes-AMG A35 looks surprising good as a small pickup truck

It’s not the German El Camino.

Automakers are constantly trying to increase profits and satisfy hungry capitalistic investors. They double-down on diversifying their product portfolios in an effort to offer something to the majority of customers. Maximizing profits is a top priority. Mercedes just unveiled the AMG A35 hatchback. This hot-hatch is a great choice for motoring enthusiasts, but it’s not wise to have two or three different body styles on the same platform. Automakers must reduce costs and increase profits, which means that we get cool variants. Unfortunately, the A Class won’t have the same cool variant as this MMG A35 ute.

This is vaporware at the moment – wild speculations from the internet ether. But it looks amazing. Although it is not practical for a passenger car, the versatility of this vehicle is amazing. AMG’s sportier features, such as the rear spoiler, now mounted at the back, and the aggressive front end with canards included, are preserved in the rendering.

The combination of the truck bed and sporty appearances of the ute creates a compelling combination. The hatch version of the A35 produces 302 horsepower (225kilowatts). All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels. The hatch version can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds. Imagine how much faster it would be if the rear seats and hatch were replaced with an empty truck bed. We can see the smile on your face.

Mercedes making something as bizarre and unique as the A35 ute is almost impossible. Sedans are dying and consumers prefer crossovers, trucks and SUVs to their sedans. They want something bigger and more powerful. This A35 mini pickup truck is not cute and adorable.
