Although it is an odd piece of automobile design, there’s no doubt that it is an interesting car.
Although the title might suggest it’s an S600 model but we checked the license plate, it is actually a 2014MY S550 Sedan. The car’s name, “S600 Royale”, is a reference to the 600-seat high-end luxury sedan. The car’s name is irrelevant as we will be taking a closer look at its completely redesigned body. This car is a mix of classic and modern MercedesBenz models. It is truly unique. Although it may not be the most beautiful sedan on the market, we are still amazed at the level of detail.
The front features the classic Mercedes grille, flanked by what appears to be two headlights with horizontal vents from the SLS. The hood has been reworked with many vertical slats and the bumper uses a lot of chrome. There are many shiny bits and pieces throughout the body as well as the wheels, which also pay homage to the classic 600.
Side vents are visible in the profile. It seems that the people behind this project also tweaked the roofline, which is now flatter to pay tribute to the 600. The rear glass was also reshaped to have a wraparound design.
The rear end of the Royale features a set taillights that are adapted from SLS. They have chrome framing, interconnected by a shiny trim, and connect through a similarly shiny piece. The trunk lid, which extends back to the base the rear glass, is very large. It reminds me of the 600. The S Class Sedan’s twin exhaust tips were reshaped, and the bumper has a lot of chrome.
The interior cabin is unremarkable, as it appears to have been left intact.
