This is for the fully loaded Signature model with the 2.5-liter turbocharged motor.
The 2018 model year brings a new lease of life to the Mazda6. It features a refreshed, modern cabin and a turbocharged 250-horsepower (186 kW) engine. It also comes at a higher price. The base Mazda6 Sport starts at $21,950 for a manual transmission and $23,000 for an automatic. The Signature model is the most expensive, at nearly $35,000. It doesn’t get any more expensive even with all the options on the Mazda configurator.
The Mazda6’s most expensive model will cost you $37,340 plus the $840 destination fees. This is for a Signature model that comes fully loaded with all the options and accessories. Mazda is limited in terms of options. There are eight exterior colors available, but three require an extra price. The most expensive option is Soul Red Crystal metallic at $595, while Machine Gray metallic costs $300 and Snowflake White Pearl only $200. All options are available for free, including Sonic Silver, Titanium Flash and Blue Reflex, Deep Crystal Blue and Jet Black.
Buyers have two choices when it comes to leather options for the cabin: Deep Chestnut Nappa or Parchment Nappa. Both are included at no extra cost. Accessories are the only place where things get a little more expensive.
You will need to spend $550 to get your Mazda Mobile Start app compatible with your 6. Rear cargo nets cost $50 more, while wheel locks cost $55. A carpeted cargo mat costs $75. Additional $125 is spent on rear bumper guards, door sill trim plate covers, and all-weather floormats. These accessories total $1,105. The Mazda6 is available for as low as $36,235 without any accessories, and with the optional Soul Red Crystal metallic finish.
The new 2.5-liter turbocharged engine is even more attractive at this price. The engine produces 250 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with sport mode. Mazda does not offer a manual transmission for its larger engine. If you need a six-speed manual shifter, the base Sport package will provide you with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine that produces 187 horsepower (139 kW) or 186 lbft (252Nm).
