Starting at $36,995, the entry-level rear-drive Grand Cherokee starts at $35,995. The Summit starts at $56,995 and adds four-wheel drive for $58,995.
The Grand Cherokee L is standard with the 3.6L V6. It produces 290 horsepower (266 kW) and 257 pound feet (348 Newton-meters). The engine produces 357 horsepower (266 kW), and 390 lbft (528 Nm) when upgraded to the 5.7-liter version. Both can be connected to an eight speed automatic transmission. A engine block heater can be purchased for $95.
There are four exterior colors available for the Summit. The only option that isn’t expensive is two-tone Bright White with black roof. Two-tone Velvet Red, black or Silver Zenith are available for $345. Monotone Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat also available at $345 Black side steps can be added for $875 or they are available in metallic finishes for $975.
The Summit is available with Nappa leather upholstery. You can choose from Global Black, a combination of Global Black or Steel Gray, or a mixture of Tupelo browns and black.
Standard equipment includes a pair second-row seat with large console between them. A bench with a 60/40 split can be purchased for $695. It also has manual adjustment that allows you to tilt it forward or slide it.
A Harman Kardon stereo with 19 speakers costs $1,495. Three options are available for the Grand Cherokee L Summit. Advanced ProTech Group IV costs $1,995 and offers a head-up display and an interior rear-facing camera. It also includes night vision with pedestrian or animal detection and a digital rearview mirror. Luxury Tech Group V is $245 and adds second-row manual window shades as well as a wireless charging pad. Mopar’s Finishing Package costs $425 and includes paint protection film as well as splash guards in all four corners.
