Bugatti confirmed that it will continue to expand the Chiron family.
The front of the mysterious prototype is similar to that on the Super Sport. While the rear appears more like the Pur Sport offering, Front fenders have holes and large inlets. The prototype’s rear features the Pur Sport’s large oval-shaped dual exhaust outlets. However, they do not have the 3D-printed titanium covers. The diffuser is a different shape. However, the car still has an active rear wings.
Beyond what is shown in the video, there aren’t any details. Bugatti said it is done with speed records and so it is unclear what the main focus will be on the new model. Rumours of a roadster version have circulated, but this is not the case. The company repeatedly denied that it plans to remove the roof. The hypercar will feature Bugatti’s powerful powerplant, there’s no doubt. The W16 quad-turbocharged W16 produces a huge amount of power, 1,580 horsepower (1.175 kilowatts). The W16 should still be blisteringly fast with an absurd top speed.
Bugatti models are durable. The Veyron, along with its variants, was in production for over a decade. It looks like the Chiron will be following a similar pattern. Rumours circulated that VW Group would sell off Lamborghini and Bugatti. The conglomerate placed Stephan Winkelmann, the president of Bugatti, in charge of both brands.
