The Noble M500 is a Back-To-Basics Supercar with Ford Twin-TurboV6

The M500 should be available in the UK by later this year.

The new supercar from the British manufacturer is the Noble M500. These images show a prototype that the company has built. According to Autocar, the first customer deliveries will occur before the end the year.

Ford’s 3.5-liter twin turbo V6 will power the M500. It is expected to produce around 550 horsepower (410 megawatts). Graziano provides a six-speed manual transmission, while the engine is driven by the driver through a cabin gated shifter.

The car will be mounted on a tubular steel chassis, with the engine at the rear of the car. The bodywork is made up of glass-reinforced, composite panels. Noble plans to offer carbon fiber pieces to reduce the weight.

The styling of the M500 is very similar to that of the M600. The chassis design is based on the older model in about 70%. Both vehicles measure the same length and the M500 is just a little wider than the older model.

The prototype M500 is nearly 3,086 lbs (1,400 kg) in weight. Due to lighter components, the final version may weigh as little as 2,756 pounds (1.250 kilograms).

Hydraulic assisted power steering keeps the driving experience exciting. There are no anti-lock brakes. The corner corners have a double-wishbone suspension that helps you get around turns.

Autocar doesn’t have images of the M500. However, Autocar says there are two pairs of Recaro Podium racing chairs and a digital instrument cluster. This vehicle is much easier to access than the Noble M600 because of its smaller doorsills.

Noble has not yet set a final price for M500. According to the company, it will cost around PS150,000 (or 205,596 at current exchange rate). The automaker plans to build 50 vehicles per year once production begins.
