We’ve seen amphibious vehicles featured on this site time and again and we are always amazed. We are not surprised by the latest Highland Systems amphibious vehicle, but this one makes us feel more than awe.

The Storm was introduced by Highland Systems, a Ukrainian company, at the IREX defense expo Abu Dhabi. It is a multi-purpose, heavily armored military tanks. Although it is amphibious as previously mentioned, it offers more than just moving in the water and onto the dirt.

The Storm is powered by a long-range hybrid powertrain. It can run in hybrid mode for 18 to 36 hours with the diesel range extender. It can also operate in full-electric mode for up to 3 hours depending on vehicle speed.
