The Subaru Forester is NSFW in a few ways

This is quite awkward.

There are moments of humor in the internet’s current hellscape. These moments show that there is more to the internet than just the immaturity. This is not one such moment. The 2020 Singapore Motor Show kicked off today, and Subaru will be in attendance with a not-so-family-friendly product – the Forester Ultimate Customized Kit Special edition. This is why it has a bad reputation.

The bright blue paint, striking red accents and lime green brake discs are enough to make you notice the Forester. It’s easier to see the SEMA suited with its red under glow, blacked out lights, large 20-inch wheels, low profile tires and lowered stance than at a motor show.

You can also see the exterior’s racy decisions from inside. Although the inside view is very limited, it does reveal the leather-and suede seats with their red STI stitching. The upgraded infotainment system can be seen, which could hint at an upgraded audio system. We don’t know what the name of this crossover is.

Subaru should be rated a PG-13 rating if this is their only faux pas at the show. Although it’s unclear if the name was intended to reference internet culture and its id or an accidental mistake, the phrase “Forester Ultimate Customized Kit Special Edition” seems too obvious to be intentional. Stranger things have happened.

The Forester Ultimate Customized Kit Special Edition is unlikely to be available at your local dealer. It looks more like a collection of aftermarket bits all wrapped up in one unsuitable package.
