The sporty, premium coupe is priced at 36,995 Pounds (or $48,680 at current exchange rates). This car is actually quite affordable considering its unique history.
This coupe was ordered by the Sultan of Brunei in a 1990s shade teal BMW called Maldives blue metallic. The dealer also believes that this is the only right hand drive 850Ci available in this color. This statement is true, as only 80 BMW 8 Series cars have been registered in this color according to the online registry. The coupe comes with a number of luxurious options, including electronically controlled dampers and the Dynamic Drive Package from BMW.
The 850Ci comes in two versions. This example was an early example of the 850Ci. It used a 5.0-liter V12 that produced 296 horsepower (221 megawatts). BMW later added a 5.4-liter V12 to the engine bay, which produced 322 horsepower (240 kW)
