Did you see the Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Concept last year at the 2018 New York Auto Show. The all-new TeramontX is making the transition from a prototype to a production model. It will be making its debut at the 2019 Auto Shanghai.

The vehicle has a low roofline and stylish spoiler at its end. The large radiator grille, which had two LED strips, has been removed from the VW concept and replaced with chrome strips around the logo.
The distinctive design features include the prominent lower grille on the front bumper, integrated twin exhaust system at the rear, and 21-inch polished alloy wheels with 10 spokes. Although Volkswagen does not provide any photos of the cabin, it states that there is enough space for five people to sit in five comfortable seats. The dashboard layout features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9.2-inch display to show the infotainment system.

The powertrain options for the Teramont X are not yet known. However, the V6 and 4Motion badges at the Teramont X’s exterior tell a lot about the story. The first refers the 3.6-liter V6 under the hood, which produces 276 horsepower (206 Kilowatts) & 266 poundfeet (366 Newton-meters of torque), while 4Motion confirms that power is routed to all 4 wheels.
According to the manufacturer, orders for the new coupe/SUV in China will be accepted starting in May. Stay tuned for more information about when the model will launch outside of the People’s Republic.
