It’s like an Acura time capsule from the 1990s.
A car collection isn’t something that is new. There have been many automobile collections in the past, some very expensive like Manny Khoshbin’s hypercar collection. However, most people only choose one brand of car. It’s not fanaticism, or simply pure affection for the brand. But it’s still respectable in many ways. The 114 Volkswagen Golfs owner.
How far would you go to show your love for a car manufacturer? Scottsdale resident Tyson Hugie is a huge fan of Acura. He converted a portion of his house to a six-garage, which looks just like an Acura showroom in the ’90s.
The video at the top shows you Hugie’s latest creation. His Acura garage contains original brochures and other ornaments that were common during the 1990s. It is a time capsule of Acura’s glory days, as well as other souvenirs. It will most likely look like Hugie’s garage if you wake up in Acura heaven.
Hugie has a blog DriveToFive that documents his car collection. His blog’s name suggests that his goal is to share his Acura Legend Coupe journey with fellow car nerds. The Legend Coupe has accumulated more than 500,000 miles… and counting.
These were only two members of his garage. The garage’s total mileage is 1.3 million, which includes an Integra GS-R and a Legend Sedan as well as a Vigor and a Formula Red NSX. All these cars have manual transmissions. Purists, rejoice!
We love cars and want to thank Hugie for his unending love of Acuras. We look forward to seeing more of his adventures over the coming years.
