While we have great respect for those who make these mashups, our real pleasure is in trying to guess which cars are being mashed. Many are labeled like this Ford Mustang with an S13 Nissan Silvia or the Camaro/R34 Skyline paring
Others, however, are a little more mysterious. The photo below shows an FD Mazda RX-7. But, do we see a little 1970’s Nissan Skyline? Given the large collection of Nissan photos on this Instagram collection, we’d say yes.
This Nissan claim is not exaggerated. Although many renderings combine Nissan DNA with another vehicle, we think the Fox Body R32 is quite cool.
However, it’s not just a Nissan show. This is the ultimate rally car mashup – a Subaru WRX STi and a Mitsubishi Evo. If that doesn’t appeal to you, maybe you prefer your Evo mixed in with a Toyota 86.
You see what we mean? It’s a long journey that takes you from one rendering to another. Assume dm_jon He has a special affinity for the Nissan S15 Silvia, particularly since one of his posts features a picture of a real Silva that he used to own.
It’s fine. Some of these mashups can be quite bizarre, while some are actually quite delightful. It was amazing to see how Nissan designs can blend with so many iconic vehicles.
