These Opel Karl Rocks are rugged and well-maintained

The end of the year is when sales begin.

We have some good news for those who are looking for a small car with the same stylish design and high-end features as a larger vehicle. Opel has introduced the Karl Rocks, a “mini car that can handle daily challenges in the urban jungle while simultaneously impressing onlookers with it’s trendy SUV look and feeling,” according to the manufacturer.

The Karl Rocks will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. It joins the similarly-sized Adam Rocks “urban crossover”. It follows the same formula, but with five doors. The ride height has been raised by 0.7 inches (18 mm), and the design has been improved with silver roof rails and new rear and front bumpers with plastic cladding. A set of 15-inch bicolor alloy wheels has also been added.

The Rocks model features a new interior featuring Favo fabric upholstery on the seats. This is an exclusive feature. Opel will offer the Radio R4.0 IntelliLink system, an alternative to the standard Radio R 300 stereo system. This infotainment system includes CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and allows navigation via Apple Maps and Google Maps.

Opel’s “wildchild” offers all the safety features and comfort features of the Standard Karl models. This includes a city mode that reduces steering effort with the push of a button. A park assist with acoustic warnings and a cruise control with speed limiter.

Although engine details are still being kept secret by the German company, it is safe to assume that the Karl Rocks will use the same 1.0-liter three cylinder naturally-aspirated unit as the standard Karl models. A five-speed manual gearbox delivers the power to the front axle.

European customers will have the opportunity to order the Karl Rocks from the end the year.
