This is a collection of parts from different cars that will take you back to the 1930s.
Are you a fan of art deco cars? These old cars have a long (like really, really long) hood and huge flares on the fenders. They are unlike any other car you might see today. We do. So we were intrigued to see this car on eBay.
This could be the day you have been waiting for. An eBay listing has a custom-built art-deco car with many interesting parts. It’s powered by Corvette, has a Audi TT interior, and a lot of other parts taken from different cars.
This unique Corvette Bella Elan coupe is based on the 1998 Chevrolet Corvette, but has undergone a lot more body transformation than the JDM mishmash star – the Honda Civic Skyline that attracted a lot attention weeks ago.
Here’s a quick overview of the parts. Although it is a little like the Corvette, it rides on a new frame with X support. The Audi TT Coupe cabin and the 1937 Chevy fenders make up the vehicle’s interior. The taillights are from another 1959 Corvette. MJC Classic Cars transformed the American sports car into an iconic French classic in Gold Metallic after 6,000 hours of work.
Under the hood is a 5.7-liter LS1 v8 engine. Although output figures are not disclosed in the eBay listing, the first version 345 horsepower LS1 engine produced.
The Audi TT Coupe was integrated into the cabin. This is what’s really interesting. The interior of the German interior matches the vintage exterior with teak wood accents, and a three-spoke steering column. The custom-built art-deco car includes modern conveniences such as power windows, locks and seats as well as air-conditioning and cruise control.
Up for auction is the Corvette Bella Elan coupe on eBay, starting at $27,500. This car might appeal to your French deco car fantasies. The seller warns that it is available locally in Florida and may be removed once sold.
